The Institute of family and systemic psychotherapy is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a group of experts in clinical psychology, psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry who are fully trained systemic family therapists, trained by trainers from the Institute of family therapy, London and the Tavistock clinic London.

The Institute provides high quality counseling and therapy on a sliding scale fee base for individuals, couples, families and groups (individuals and couples).

The Institute has a leading role in:

  • Promoting systemic psychotherapy in both the treatment and prevention of mental disorders.
  • The development of treatment models for coping with effects of violence, sexual and emotional abuse in the family.
  • The development of professional training programmes.

The Institute operates primarily with fees generated through clinical services, expert assessments for social services and courts, professional trainings and donations.
